This four-sensor kit puts a colour LED display in your eyeline that reads out the distance to the nearest obstacle and shows which side it is on, while a warning tone speeds up as you close in — the closer you get, the faster it beeps. Twin processors and an upgraded chipset handle the detection, reading obstacles from as close as 0.25 metres. Crucially, that includes the things mirrors and shoulder-checks miss: low walls, bollards and small children behind the car.
