Neon flex gives you the look of a bent-glass sign without the glass: a silicone tube that diffuses 120 LEDs per metre into one continuous ribbon of light. This strip comes in nine colours, including three white temperatures from warm 3000K to cool 6500K, plus red, green, blue, golden yellow, pink and ice blue. The 6 × 12 mm profile is narrow enough for lettering and tight outlines, and the IP68 waterproof rating means it is as happy tracing a garden fence or pergola as it is spelling something out on a bedroom wall. Each length ships with its wire cable and end caps fitted, and the chip is rated for roughly 50,000 hours. One thing to plan for: this is a DC strip, available in 5V, 12V or 24V versions, and no power supply is included. It must never be wired straight into 230V mains — pair it with a suitable DC supply for the voltage you choose.
