Aerating water a long way from a plug socket is exactly what this pump is for. Push the ground stake into a sunny spot, drop the air stone into the water, and the 5V 2W solar panel starts the pump automatically whenever the sun is on it - no wiring, no batteries, no running cost. The 0.3W pump pushes up to 0.8L/min of air down the supplied pipe to a maximum water depth of 1m, at under 60dB, so it will not dominate a quiet garden. The panel angle adjusts to face the best light, and the 3m cable gives you freedom to put the panel in the sun and the air stone where the fish are. The housing is rated IP65 against the weather. It suits small to medium ponds, outdoor fish tanks and water reservoirs, and earns its keep as backup aeration during a power cut or when transporting live aquatic stock. Note that output depends on the light: in weak sun the bubbles slow, and the pump rests when the sun goes in.
