The RS26 is a classic rotary band switch: turn the knob and it steps cleanly between positions, routing a signal or supply wherever you point it. It comes in four configurations, from a single pole with twelve positions right up to four poles with three positions, so you can match it to selectors, range switches and mode dials. The contacts are copper and the switch is rated at 5A for low-voltage work (below 50V AC or 75V DC), with a rated life of 100,000 operations. The 21mm shaft leaves plenty to work with when panel-mounting and fitting a knob.
